Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Creme Review

*This product was sent to me to review by the people at www.mypure.co.uk *
Glowy, healthy, fresh skin has never been more in fashion than it is now. With the recent strobing craze a strong highlight has replaced contouring in popularity.

I was really interested to see what the natural beauty industry had to bring to the table for the fans of a high shine glow so I was excited to review the Light Reflect Highlighting Cream by Inika.

Inika has great packaging. I love the black and gold and I really think it looks like a high end makeup product. Simple, sophisticated and classic.

The product itself is a thick cream/gel product which has a warm champagne shimmer. Brilliantly glossy and light reflecting this will universally flatter light-medium to medium-dark skintones. It might be slightly on the warm side for very fair skins but it can be used sparingly to bronze the skin should you desire.

I think this looks beautiful patted over the cheekbones or cupids bow but my favourite trick with this is mixing a tiny amount with your moisturiser and applying it before foundation. This gives a natural, subtle glow which looks gorgeous under foundation. If you are someone who craves a dewy finish but doesn't want to look "sweaty" or like a disco ball I really recommend trying this!

It works really well on all skin types as long as it is applied before powder.

I honestly am head over heels in love with this product! Inika make some great makeup but this is one of their best in my opinion!

EcoTools Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set Review

*This product was sent to me to review by the people at www.mypure.co.uk *

One of my favourite things are brushes. I shudder to think how much I have spent on brushes over the years. I was so excited to try these natural, cruelty free brushes by EcoTools to see how they compared to their more expensive, animal hair counterparts.

This set includes a blush/powder brush, eye shading brush, concealer brush, brow brush/eyelash comb and a sharp angled brush.

They are packaged in a really nice case which is perfect to keep them in or using as a make-up bag!

The brushes themselves are beautifully constructed and are SO soft. They feel incredible. They are dense, fluffy and silken on the skin.

They pick up product perfectly and evenly distribute it on the skin. The blush brush picks up powder amazingly and blends it lightly over the skin and buffs it into an airbrushed finish.

The eye shading brush is perfect for packing on a base shadow colour across the lid. Amazing for smokey eyes to pack on a nice solid base. This type of brush is amazing to get opaque colour with minimal fallout as you can "pat" the shadow onto the lid.

The conceal brush is a really nice for undereye concealer. Stiff enough to thoroughly blend product but soft enough not to irritate the delicate eye area. Also amazing for spot concealing this brush is really great for getting in to hard to reach spots like around the nose.

The brow/lash brush is perfect for grooming your brows, brushing product through and combing your lashes before and after mascara (seriously, say goodbye to lash clumps).

The angled brush is great for eyeliner and eyebrows. You can get really sharp, perfect lines with this nifty little brush.

These brushes are such amazing value for money. 5 brushes (6 if you count the brow/lash duo as separate brushes) for £14.99. You can buy this brush set here from www.mypure.co.uk

Kosmea Daily Facial Exfoliant Review

*This product was sent to me to review by the people at www.mypure.co.uk *
Despite it currently being autumn I have noticed my skin suddenly becoming much drier than it was a few weeks ago. Because of this I am starting working exfoliation heavily back into my daily skincare routine.

I have been curious about Kosmea skincare for awhile now and I am so pleased I finally got around to trying one of their products!

The packaging is gorgeously simple. I am a sucker for nice, well presented packaging and this clean blue and white box looks gorgeous.

Inside the box is the 125g tube. This is such a generous amount of the product as I have found you only need a small amount to get a nice, gentle exfoliation.

The product itself has a very thick, clay like texture (not surprising as kaolin clay is a top ingredient in this product). When mixed with a tiny bit of water it because soft and creamy and spreads perfectly on the skin.

I love how my skin feels after using this. It feels smooth, clean and not irritated or dried out. It smells very fresh and slightly herbal and is very invigorating when I use it in the morning.

One thing I hate about my skin is how dry and flakey it gets as soon as it gets colder or damper here. This product lightly buffs away dry skin without disturbing or irritating the rest of my face.

You can also leave this product on the skin for a few minutes as a mask, this lets the clay absorb any oil or impurities before buffing away dry skin when you remove it. I really like this multi purpose aspect of this product.

Over all I am SO impressed with this product and Kosmea in general! I will definitely be reviewing some more of their products soon! You can buy this product HERE from the lovely people at www.mypure.co.uk

Honour Short Latex Gloves Review

Hello darlings,
Welcome back to my Blog. Today I wanted to quickly share my thoughts on one of my wardrobe staples. These gorgeous short moulded rubber black gloves from Honour Clothing.

Honour are a supplier of high quality fetish fashion and sell some wonderful Latex and PVC garments (among a hidden treasure trove of other fetish accessories). All at very reasonable prices.

These gloves are available in black, red and clear (I obviously chose Black) and they arrived beautifully packaged. They were dispatched SO quickly and arrived in a sealed box that was filled with bubble wrap.

I obviously couldn’t wait to shine them and slip them on and boy was I not disappointed. These gloves feel very well made. They are thin enough to allow for perfect movement and that ‘second skin’ feeling of latex but thick enough that I am not paranoid about them ripping.

I love pairing these gloves with either a black or white shirt, black jeans and a blazer or an all black outfit. They are perfect for a smart/casual outfit with a twist of wickedness thrown in.

I am so overjoyed with these gloves (so much so I bought another pair). They look amazing when shined with a good dressing aid or a latex safe silicone spray. (I use either Pjur Cult or Skin Two Dress & Shine. All from Honour).

I can’t rave about the quality of service Honour provides enough. It was such a positive buying experience and I can’t wait to purchase some more latex garments from them soon!

Breathless Latex Couture Review

Hello Darlings!
I am back after a brief hiatus as this site has been thoroughly re-coded from the ground up. I recently went to London and fell instantly in love with a gorgeous Latex Waistcoat from Breathless Latex Couture.

It is a gorgeous black and white pinstriped design that flatters my gender neutral aesthetic.
Hand made from high quality black latex this garment is beautifully tailored. It feels gorgeously made and there is no visible seaming or glue marks on the outside.

The white pinstripe is hand done with precision cut strips of white latex hand laid onto the collar and pocked detailing for a perfect finish.

The metal detailing is sublime too with the metal fittings fixed FIRMLY into place above the latex so there is no risk of the metal weakening or discolouring the black latex.

The garment itself is a halter neck with a zip up back. The zip is very secure and holds the garment in place perfectly.

It looks gorgeous on its own or over a black shirt and I love how amazing it looks with a coat of silicone lube applied onto the surface.

I purchased this in a size down as the rubber is quite thick and I knew it'd have a slight cinching effect on my waist without distorting or weakening the latex.

This was my first purchase from Breathless Latex and I paid £165 for this waistcoat.

I honestly adore it and I really recommend their gorgeous garments.

You can find Breathless Latex at http://www.breathless.uk.com/ or in their London store on Pheonix Road.

Lush: Lord Of Misrule Shower Cream Review

Hey guys!
Welcome back to my blog! I am so excited to be able to post on here again as this is the site that started my career as a Blogger. It has been redesigned over the past few months (hence the lack of posting).

Today, I am feeling very much in the Halloween spirit. Partly thanks to Lush, for releasing their Halloween line. I was not thrilled with how small the range is this year but I was drastically excited to see a shower cream in my all time favourite scent, the deliciously wicked Lord Of Misrule.

Lord Of Misrule is a dark, warm, spicy and sweet scent that envelops the senses within its rich and heady aroma. With notes of patchouli, black pepper and vanilla it is spicy yet deliciously sweet.

This shower product is in Lush’s new “Shower Cream” formula which is a thicker, more moisturising variant of their shower gels. It creates a gorgeous, creamy lather which is gently cleansing and luxuriously moisturising to the skin.

It leaves the skin feeling soft, moisturised and strongly scented. The fragrance lingers on the skin several hours after showering which I think is brilliant if you are paying nearly £10 for a shower gel.

I found this to be the best shower product I have tried from Lush. It is also one of the few products they aren’t packing full of Alcohols, so it didn't cause any irritation on the areas of my body I shave.

I really love this shower cream and I am certainly going to stock up on it heavily before it is cruelly taken from the shelves at the end of October.

Violet Chachki SLAYS In Vanguard Video

When it comes to drag artists having a strong aesthetic, few can touch the winner of Season 7 of RuPauls Drag Race; Miss Violet Chachki. Her unique, Bondage/Beauty aesthetic and tiny waist wowed the audience as did her debut single, the raunchy and provocative: Betty. (Anyone else left with a weird complex about jello after watching it?)

The starlet has just released her second single, titled Vanguard.Which is off of her newly released EP called GAGGED. (Review to follow).

The video is a visual masterpiece with outfits to die for, insane levels of creativity and ...fight choreography. Unlike many of the cliche drag music videos Vanguard does not feature twerking Andrew Christian models, instead it goes for provocative imagery and a detailed story arch.

It is also lovely to see some of Violet's aerial skills, one for the people who say the reigning queen lacks talent. Vanguard is a masterpiece and is certainly the best video to come from a drag race contender.

Come through, Miss Violet!

ACORELLE Natural Oriental Body Wax Review

*This product was kindly sent to me by the lovely people at www.mypure.co.uk all opinions are my own.*

Hair removal is often a painful, laborious task and can often involve harsh chemicals or plastic based waxes which are bad for the skin and the environment. Because of this I wanted to try something more gentle and natural.

This wax is by Acorelle and is a natural sugar-based wax with soothing and moisturising Ylang Ylang oil. Included in the box is a 300g jar of sugar wax, a spatula, 12 washable waxing strips and written instructions.

The first thing I noticed about this wax is how GORGEOUS it smells. It smells so beautiful. Sugary and floral like an exotic desert it really is scrumptious smelling. I honestly would wear this as a perfume if I could.

The wax melts at a really low temperature which I really like. You can melt it in the microwave or over hot water (I prefer that method as you are much less likely to overheat the wax and burn yourself). It applies to the skin really smoothly and doesn't drag the hair as it is applied.

The wax removed 100% of hair first time for me which is really surprising to me as I usually have a horrific track record with waxing (despite my beauty therapy qualification). It left the skin feeling very soft and left behind some of the delicious scent.

Another amazing thing with this wax is it is water soluble. Meaning it is not the end of the world if you spill it on a towel, the carpet or anything else. It also makes removing any residue much easier.

This wax spreads very thinly on the skin so a little goes a long way with it making it great value for money!

If you have never tried waxing and are looking to ease into it, or you are a waxing veteran who is sick of the sticky, messy, traditional plastic-based waxes then this is PERFECT for you.

Willam: Shartistry In Motion Track By Track Review

Image from Huffington Post

When it comes to drag queens achieving mainstream success, few ever make it as far into the spotlight as Drag Race Season 4 contender Willam Belli.

Willam found infamy when she became the first (and only) queen to be disqualified from Drag Race for breaking the rules of her contract. Since then she has become hugely successful online with her comical parodies of chart songs and her Willams Beatdown series.

Willam's songs have millions of hits on YouTube and her song Boy Is A Bottom currently boasts over EIGHTEEN MILLION views. She has just released her eagerly anticipated second album titled Shartistry In Motion.

If the name doesn't give it away Shartistry In Motion is a crude comedy album with slick production and tongue firmly planted between cheeks. It would make any middle-aged housewife die of shock and it is tremendous fun.

The album opens with the retro number Coin On The Dresser. It is a heavenly slice of sordid disco realness. A song about prostitution has never sounded so damn good.

Next up is Ride For AIDS (feat Alaska 5000). It is a parody of Taylor Swifts blank space for HIV/AIDS awareness that manages to be both hilarious and charitable. ("I'm a fuckin saint" )Willam really does deserve credit for managing to fit the word Schmorgesborg into a songs lyrics.  The lyrics are well crafted and at times hilarious. "Please don't sue us, Taylor Swift we're do-gooders"

Track number three features season 4 legend Latrice Royale. It is titled Thick Thighs and it is twerking paradise. The song is crude, offensive and absolutely HILARIOUS. It also features some amazing production too. This song will do amazingly live and I can see it becoming popular in gay clubs around the world.

Track four is the single American Apparel Ad Girls (feat Courtney Act and Alaska 5000).
The video for this track was released eight months ago for the American Apparel campaign of which the three queens modeled for. However, the track is far more than a mere advert. It features some great lyrics, production and by far the best vocals Courtney has put on any track.

UCC (Feat Rhea Litre) is up next. It is the most slowed down track on the album. It is very easy listening. Both Willam and Rhea deliver very impressive vocals on this track. Whilst it is not a stand out on the album it is by no means a poor track.

How Much Can't is track number six and it is a delight. It is everything a good Willam song should be, crude, funny, well produced and mocking someone/something. It is another fun, dancey track which sounds at its best when blasted loudly.

Track 7 is Es Una Pasiva (aka Boy Is A Bottom in Spanish). There are no words for how funny and catchy this song is. Willam delivers some brilliant vocals and looks stunning in the video.

The final track is titled Only Anally. It is a parody of Unconditionally by Katy Perry. The lyrics would probably be considered crude by 98.2% of the population, but that is what makes Willams work so much fun. I am sure Katy Perry wishes she paid someone to write this version of the song instead of the original version.

Although Shartistry In Motion is only eight tracks long it is a very solid release. There are no filler tracks and every song is bound to get stuck in your head (probably at the most inappropriate moment).

Top Tracks:
Thick Thighs (feat Latrice Royale), Coin On The Dresser, How Much Can't, Ride For AIDS.

You can purchase Shartistry In Motion from Amazon, iTunes or your local clinic.

Trilogy Very Gentle Moisturising Cream Review

*This product was kindly sent to me by the lovely people at www.mypure.co.uk all opinions are my own.*

When it comes to skincare, the sensitivity of  skin can be one of the hardest things to cater for, especially during the summer when irritants like pollen, dust and UV rays are at their highest. There are so many triggers for any sensitivity of the skin and it is so important to use the right skincare for sensitive skin types.

Natural and organic products are by far the kindest to sensitive skin as they generally lack the common irritants which can cause reactions to sensitive skin. Trilogy is an amazing brand that creates high-end natural skin, hair and body care products and they have an amazing range of products designed especially for sensitive skin.

This is Trilogy's "Very Gentle Moisturising Cream". It is a Day/Night cream designed for sensitive/reaction prone cream. This is how the product is described.

"A particularly gentle moisturiser, designed to nourish, hydrate and comfort even the most sensitive and easily irritated skin.
Soothe and protect the weakened skin barrier and care for easily irritated skin with our deeply hydrating and comforting cream. Nourishes and revitalises with extra care it also helps fine lines and wrinkles appear visibly smoother.
Combines natural spring water and soothing Calendula with calming Chamomile. Breakthrough botanical complex SyriCalm reduces redness and inflammation, while protecting the skin's natural barrier function. Olive and Evening Primrose nourish while plant-derived hyaluronic acid reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

~ Certified natural day/night cream

~ Fragrance-free, essential oil free, dermatologically tested."

The packaging on this cream is gorgeous. It is very minimalistic, simple and elegant. I really love the white and nude design.  The product itself is packaged in a 50ml squeezy tube which cleverly reverses the colour scheme on the box.

The cream itself is a very thick, unscented cream. It delivers good hydration and sinks immediately into the skin. I love the fact that it is very moisturising but does not feel greasy or sit heavily on the skin.

It has an immediate calming feel on the skin. It makes the skin feel soothed and relaxed. I can see it being wonderous for sensitive skins or skin that has been at all damaged or irritated. (Especially good for going on holiday if you are at risk of getting sunburn).

I am honestly blown away with how good this cream is. As well as being good for sensitive skin, it is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

I really recommend trying this product if you suffer from hypersensitivity of the skin. It feels so cooling and relaxing on the face. You can buy this cream HERE from www.mypure.co.uk

Miss Fame: Beauty Marked Album Review

When thinking of the future of Drag as an art form there are very few queens who push Drag in a different direction as much as the transcendentally beautiful Miss Fame.

Miss Fame is a make-up artist, model, performer and musician based in New York and recently competed on the seventh season of the Logo series RuPauls Drag Race where she wowed viewers with her "Beyond this planet beautiful" aesthetic. She has just released her first album titled Beauty Marked.

Beauty Marked was released during a time where EVERY Ru-Girl had some form of album/single/video to promote. However Miss Fame has managed to create an album which doesn't sound like just another drag album.

The first thing we noticed upon our first listen of this album, is how high the production value is. Everything feels very slick. Every beat and note is very precise and atmospheric. In terms of sound, this album has a wonderful, retro, early Madonna vibe which reeks of quality and opulence.

Beauty Marked has a very diverse array of sounds and tempos. Rubber Doll, Miss Fame (feat Alaska Thunderfuck), Zero Gravity and I Run The Runway (feat Violet Chachki) are all fast tempo electronic numbers with relentlessly catchy lyrics. They would not sound out of place in any club and the production value is incredible.

For a drag album Beauty Marked is filled with slowed down tracks. Diamond Life, Solid Gold, Smoke & Mirrors, All We Are Is Magic and Give Me Glamour are slow tempo, haunting tracks which sound very reminiscent of early Madonna. The sparse, modern beats serve as a seductive backdrop for Fames vocals and really set Beauty Marked apart from other releases.

Vocally this album is very solid. Miss Fame delivers her vocals very confidently and it really shows in each track. However, it is lyrically where Beauty Marked REALLY shines. Every song tells a story and each lyric is well crafted and polished until it gleams.

Top Tracks:
Rubber Doll, Miss Fame (feat Alaska Thunderfuck), All We Are Is Magic, InstaFame.

Trilogy Instant Bronzing Gel Review

*This product was kindly sent to me by the lovely people at www.mypure.co.uk all opinions are my own.*
Hello, Beautifuls!
It seems like the summer is finally upon us and many of us are looking to get a nice, summer glow to our complexions.

When it comes to tanning I want it to look as natural as possible without it being streaky or orange. I also want it to be a more gradual process rather than being my normal pale self one day to *BOOM* dark and tanned the next. So I decided to try Trilogy's Instant Bronzing Gel, which is a natural, cruelty-free alternative to commercial tanners.

I absolutely ADORE the Trilogy packaging and this is no exception. It looks classy and well designed and conveys the image of a high-quality product. The product itself is packaged in a bronzed squeezy tube with a secure fitting plastic lid to dispense the gel.

I really like this kind of packaging as it means it is travel-friendly and an easy addition to any overnight bag.

On to the product itself. It smells DIVINE. It smells of caramelised sugar and pecans, which is heaven to me as I adore caramel scents. It applies as a thin gel and dries extremely quickly. Upon application, it gives the skin a gorgeous bronzed shimmer and it develops to a deep, natural tan within two to three hours.

I really like how you can use this product once to give a subtle tanned appearance to the skin or apply it daily to achieve a deep, lasting tan. It seems a much more convenient, versatile alternative to commercial tanning products.

Because it applies as a sheer gel it adapts and flatters individual complexions and lets natural skin show through rather than smothering it in fake tan.

I honestly love this product so much. It is by far the best "at home tanner" I have tried and the fact it is cruelty-free and natural is a HUGE bonus!

You can buy this product HERE from the lovely people at www.mypure.co.uk

Spooky Eyes White Manson Contact Lenses Review

*Disclaimer: Although I did not pay for these lenses my opinion is my own and this review is honestly written. I would NOT put my name or recommendation to a product I did not love*

Hello, Dolls!
Today I am reviewing a product from one of my favourite stores SpookyEyes.com.
Spooky Eyes sell some AMAZING Coloured Contact Lenses  and I opted to get the amazing White Manson Lenses by Dream Eyes.

The lenses arrive in a sealed cardboard box with each lens packaged in a secure, foil sealed blister pack. I really like this kind of packaging as it means there is far less room for breakage in transit and you don't have to deal with the razor sharp metal lids that traditional glass vials have.

The lenses have a diameter of 14.5mm and a base curve of 8.6 which is a perfect size for me.
These lenses have a year long life span from opening which means you get amazing value for money with them!

Now on to the most important parts of the review, the comfort and aesthetic of the lenses in the eye.

Closeup of lenses in natural sunlight.
Lenes in natural sunlight
Basic, slightly rushed Gothic make-up coupled with the White Manson Lenes by Dream Eyes From Spooky Eyes.

The lenses look REALLY bright in. They are highly  opaque and fully cover my natural eye colour for a highly dramatic, creepy effect.

The Manson style of lens lends itself really well to gothic/alternative fashion looks as well as Halloween and clubbing.

These lenses are FDA Approved and meet IOS International Standards. They have a water content of 42% making them REALLY comfortable and ultra hydrating in the eye. I had to use rewetting drops very infrequently throughout the day when wearing these lenses and I have very dry eyes normally.

These lenses are amazing for grabbing attention and I feel they offer a lot of versatility for costumes or high impact make-ups!

I personally love these lenses and am blown away with how comfortable they are!

You can purchase these lenses for $28.95 USD (£20.30 GBP) HERE and feel free to check out the amazing selection of coloured contact lenses SpookyEyes.com offers!

MUNIO CANDELA CINNAMON SOY CANDLE REVIEW

*This product was kindly sent to me by the lovely people at www.mypure.co.uk all opinions are my own.*
Hello, Beautifuls!
As my regular readers will know there are few things I love more than a scented candle. Especially a natural scented candle! The Munio Candela candles looked like everything I love, they look quaint, rustic and natural and when I saw they have a cinnamon scented one I just HAD to try it!

The candle arrives packaged in a cute, rustic cardboard box. Which looks both sleek and natural. I personally love rustic packaging on products like this and this is a perfect example of that.

The candle itself is made from natural Soy Wax rather than the traditional beeswax so this is a vegan-friendly product! The candle also has a lead-free, cotton wick. The candle has a 15-hour burn time which is apparently 50% longer than a regular candle of the same size, this makes the product excellent value for money!

The candle itself has a very subtle, natural cinnamon scent. It is far from overpowering or synthetic. It also has natural cinnamon sticks held inside the candle by the soy wax and they honestly smell divine once the candle is lit.

This really is a truly natural candle and I think it would make a wonderful gift for anyone who is vegan or interested in natural, cruelty-free products. Or if you are like me and are a candle addict, it makes a lovely gift for yourself to sit and relax with a good book and a nicely scented candle burning in the room.

You can buy this candle HERE from www.mypure.co.uk for £11.70

Pinky Paradise Vassen Dolly Plus Red Review

Hello, Beautifuls!
Today I am reviewing a product which was kindly sent to me by the lovely people at Pinky Paradise. Pinky Paradise is the largest online supplier of circle lenses.

I, as a make-up artist am a large fan of wearing coloured contact lenses. I love giving my aesthetic an alternative, alien look which in my opinion, is heightened by using circle lenses.  Because of this I leapt at the chance to work with Pinky Paradise and chose to review the gorgeous looking Vassen Dolly Plus Red Circle Lenses. Because who doesn't love red contacts??

The lenses arrived in sealed glass phials which were securely wrapped in packing foam. I was also given the single CUTEST lens case ever. I genuinely love macaroons and a blue and yellow macaroon contact lens case is just so adorable. I was also given a set of velcro hair grips which are really useful for keeping hair out of your face when applying makeup or inserting contact lenses.

Showing the difference between the front and back of the lenses. Left: Front. Right: Back.

The colour of the lens is REALLY vibrant. I think because of how the lens is printed they suit darker eyes better. If there is such a thing as a "natural looking" bright red circle lens it is these. They really blend in with dark eyes and they give such an ethereal, vampy effect.

These lenses have a 15mm diameter which gives a drastic enlarging effect to the eye.

Left: Natural Eye. Right: Vassen Dolly Plus Red.

One of the most important parts of contact lenses is the level of comfort. I have worn these lenses for seven hours straight. Using rewetting eye drops roughly every three hours. It is fair to say these are by far the most comfortable pair of contact lenses I have worn. They feel almost invisible in my eye.

I love how well these lenses blend in with my natural eye colour, as well as how comfortable they feel. These have become one of my all time favourite contact lenses and I can not recommend them enough! They arrived in ten days which is incredibly fast.

If you order from Pinky Paradise enter the code mrgothinista at checkout to receive a free lens case and a mystery gift with your order! The coupon code is stackable, meaning the more lenses you order the more cases and gifts you will receive!

Miss Fame RUBBER DOLL Review

Hello, Beautifuls.
I am sure it will come as no surprise to many of you that I am a huge Drag fan. I grew up idolising the club kids of the 80s/90s and the infamous Divine. Of course, I absolutely adore the new direction that drag is taking as an art form and to me, no one embodies the new drag better than the legendary Miss Fame.

Fame is a highly successful makeup artist with a flourishing following on YouTube and she recently appeared on the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Having recently left the competition she has just released her first single titled RUBBER DOLL.

Of course, Miss Fame is painted to perfection in the video. She is without a doubt a stunning queen. Arguably one of the most beautiful in existence. The outfits, makeup and hair are without fault.

The song itself is produced to perfection. Every beat is flawless. Fame's vocals are perfect for the track and there is some clever wordplay used within the lyrics.

What do you think of Miss Fame's music debut? Let me know in the comments below....it's Beyond This Planet Beautiful.

My Skin Peel Experience

Hello, Beautifuls!
Today I am wanting to talk about something that has revolutionized my skin, Salicylic Acid skin peels.

Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid which is commonly used in skin care to treat oily or blemish prone skin. Skin peels work by causing a mild trauma to the top layers of the epidermis causing the skin to heal itself, revealing fresh, new cells and clear pores.

I do not have amazing skin. It is combination and dehydrated. This means I have areas of dryness, oiliness, break outs and dry patches. All in all it is a anatomical nightmare. So in my effort to normalize my skin tone and type I decided to try chemical peels.

The basic principal of a chemical peel is a solution of either an alpha or beta hydroxy acid and IPA is applied on to the skin for an allotted ammount of time before being neautralized with a strong alkaline. This is repeated once a week for an allotted number of weeks.

Skin peels are not a miracle fix by any means. However after a six week treatment I have seen a drastic transformation in the tone, condition and appearance of my skin. I would reccomend thoroughly reseaching skin peels BEFORE trying one as they can cause severe damage to the skin. Also if you intend to do a skin peel at home make sure you buy only from a trusted seller.

Manic Panic Purple Haze Review

Hello Beautifuls!
Today I want to talk to you about one of my favourite hair colour brands, the legendary Manic Panic.

I have used many of their colours personally and professionally and I always swear by their AMPLIFIED and classic formulas. They have such an array of colours and they are all mixable and fully customizable. Manic Panic are cruelty free and are highly conditioning and don't damage the hair.

I love using the darkest, AMPLIFIED colours on my unbleached hair. They add a lovely condition and undertone to the hair without stripping or changing your natural colour. I have used and loved the AMPLIFIED version of the legendary Vampire Red for years and swear by it. So I thought I would give the equally popular Purple Haze a try.

The first thing I noticed was the formula is not as richly pigmented as Vampire Red. I also experienced slightly more bleeding with this colour.

I apply the colour to slightly damp hair (just washed, NOT conditioned) and then cover in cling wrap. I leave it on my hair for anything between two to six hours, applying head occasionally.

It left my hair feeling really nice. It also added a lovely purple hue to my unprocessed hair. I did find this colour didn't give as drastic of a colour change as Vampire Red, however red is naturally found in the hair so red pigments will always be more visible.

I do really like this dye a lot. It isn't my favourite from Manic Panic, however it does look STUNNING on bleached hair.

#BoycottLimeCrime My Opinion On Lime Crime

Hello Beautifuls!
Before I start this post I want to insert the following disclaimer. *All opinions herein are my own. I am only stating what has been reported to me as fact by reliable and official parties and I refuse ANY legal responsibility for any offence caused to the company. This blog is my legal property and I reserve the right to publish what content I wish.*

It is fair to say few things have rocked the online beauty community as much as the brand Lime Crime has.
Lime Crime has always caused a divide amongst the online community, the people that loved it REALLY loved it and the ones who hated it REALLY hated it.

However Lime Crime were recently embroiled in a serious security scandal. Putting it bluntly their website was hacked last year which risked the personal and financial details of all their customers. However, in an act of appalling business management they did not notify their customers of this until FEBRUARY this year! Despite customers telling them on social media people had stolen money from their bank accounts.

This is absolutely disgraceful and as a business owner myself I am disgusted.

Another fact about Lime Crime (ignoring the fact that their eyeshadows are simply repackaged Mica Pigments) is that the quantity of product they supply to their young market base is an absolute bad joke. For example their Velvetines contain a measly 3g of product compared to 5g from a lot of their competitors. (Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Illamasqua, Melt Cosmetics, NARS, Pretty Zombie Cosmetics, Lunatik Cosmetic Labs, Kryolan etc).

I am yet to meet a professional and qualified make-up artist who will touch Lime Crime make-up. Their business reputation is appalling. They have also reportedly taken legal action against bloggers who give the company a negative review.

There are some amazing articles and videos online detailing the companies shady past so I really recommend checking those out to further educate yourself.

This post is only my opinion. However I will be removing all previous Lime Crime posts from my blog as I wish to give this company no further promotion.
