Manic Panic Hot Hot Pink Review

Hey Dolls,

Today I am reviewing the classic formulation of Manic Panic's Hot Hot Pink. I purchased this dye from Blue Banana for £9.50p

I have wanted pink hair for a LONG time, it is one of the first colours you go when you start dyeing your hair bright colours. I have tried the Amplified formula of Manic Panic's Vampire Red and found it amazing so I was curious to try the classic formula.

You get 118ml of dye in the pot and the first thing I noticed when I opened the tub was that it is a much thinner and fluid texture than say La Riche' Directions Dye. I personally like this as I find it easier to distribute through my hair.

I applied this to my bleached hair which already had a bright colour in it (Directions Plum) but as the colour had faded quite a lot I figured it would take well enough. The result was a bright colour that was not quite pink and not quite violet. I ADORE it.

This awesome colour also glows under UV light! Which is AMAZING!

The dye hasn't faded much after two weeks and it really conditions the hair as my hair was pretty fried after bleaching. (NEVER bleach your hair if you have a permanent red hair dye in it!!) I am so in love with the colour and the formula. Although Manic Panic is more expensive than most other dyes I really feel their formula is superior.

Have you tried any Manic Panic dyes?
What are your favourites?
