So I haven't been very active of late due to the stresses of life and an over abundance of coursework which has left my Blog to be sadly neglected. 

I am currently in the middle of a very exciting project called PhantasmaGOREia which is a unique YouTube collaboration channel between myself and four other bloggers and YouTubers of alternative subcultures or lifestyles. 

I am also starting to write online for a couple of online fashion and beauty magazines, which I am SO excited about. I hope the first month of 2015 is treating you well and I will be back with more regular posting in february!

Dream Eyes White Contact Lenses Review

Hello beautifuls!

Today I am reviewing some gorgeous lenses sent to me by SpookyEyes which is an amazing retailer of coloured contact lenses both beauty and special effects!

These particular lenses are by a company called Dream Eyes which I have used and loved for awhile now (See my review of their Natural Shine Violet Lenses HERE). They are opaque white contact lenses which look both creepy and beautiful at the same time and are available HERE 

The lenses arrived in immaculate condition and were beautifully packaged. As always the Dream Eyes packaging looks professional, sleek and sterile. Exactly what you want with contacts! 

The lenses arrive in sterile blister packaging which I ALWAYS prefer to those hideous glass vials with the razor sharp metal lids. 

The lenses look amazing in and feel SOOOOO comfortable. They are really light and quite thin so they allow your eye to breathe comfortably. They are FDA approved and have a year life span if looked after correctly! 

They are perfect for fancy dress, special occasions, nights out, or if you are a weirdo like me....casual day wear. 

These lenses also have a high water content so they keep your eyes really hydrated when wearing them, which I love! 

I never really was one for white contacts but these have really won me over! And as always www.SpookyEyes.com's service was exceptional!

Isle Of Wolf Cinnamon Spice Candle Review

Today I am reviewing one of my favourite things in the world, a scented candle! 

I have heard a lot of good things about Isle Of Wolf and their candles so I was really excited to try one!

The packaging is absolutely beautiful! Lovely attention to detail and gorgeous design. It really looks a high quality item that would be a perfect gift.

This is how the candle is described:

"Warming scent of spices- cinnamon, cardamon, clove and orange - brings comfort down to your toes and evokes memories that gently take you to a Winter Wonderland. The fragrance lights up the atmosphere of love and happiness to enjoy magic moments of celebration.

It smells AMAZING. It genuinely smells of autumn/winter to me. It smells warm, sweet, spicy and citrusy and I absolutely adore the smell. Because it is a soya wax candle it burns beautifully. Isle Of Wolf candles are scented with the finest oils and extracts and you can really tell by the fragrance! It smells completely natural and all the better for it!

Isle of Wolf are a cruelty free brand but they are also a brand of quality,
the candle (although small in size) is housed in a gorgeous black frosted glass which looks understated and stylish.

By far one of my favourite candles and definitely a brand to check out if you like nicely scented candles!

Naturtint Hair Dye Review

Hello guys!

Today I want to talk about by far one of the best hair colouring products I have EVER used. It is a completely vegan, cruelty free permanent hair dye. 

It is formulated without many of the chemical compounds that make up most commercial hair dyes (many of which such as ammonia and SLS are notorious for damaging the hair and scalp).

Included in the box you get a bottle of developer, the colourant, a sachet of shampoo and a "multiplier" which closes the cuticles and helps seal in the colour. 

First off, there is no smell to the colour at all. It smells very mildly of liquorice and is a very thick gel like consistency which applies beautifully to the hair. It is also mixable allowing you to mix or layer shades to create your own custom look or style. 

I chose the shade Iridescent Chestnut  which is a beautiful light brown with strong red highlights. 

You can lighten your hair up to two shades lighter with these colourants which is not as much as harsher store bought but is completely sufficient. 

It leaves your hair feeling absolutely incredible, there is no sign of damage and it smells amazing. 

The colour is rich and absolutely glistens in the hair.

As well as being a safer, more ethical alternative to commercial hair colourants Naturtint also offers 100% Grey coverage! It also contains a wide range of plant derived ingredients to strengthen, condition and protect your hair during the colouring process. 

I am absolutely bowled over by this range of hair dyes, I am not sure what kind of wizardry makes it scentless....but I LOVE IT!

They also have an amazing range of shades including bright red and a iridescent blue/black! 

I can't wait to try more shades in their line as they are by far the best permanent colourant I have used!

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Review

Hey Guys!

Today I am delighted to review a product I have been so excited for since they were announced months ago. Jeffree Star, for those of you who do not know, is an American musician, model, clothing designer, make-up artist and performer. He started his career back in the MySpace days and has been a cult figure ever since. 

His first line of cosmetics come in the form of a collection of three Velour Liquid Lipsticks. These are a richly pigmented, liquid to matte formula that offers transfer resistant wear.

The packaging is VERY Jeffree, neon pink with the Jeffree Star Cosmetics logo embossed in gold foil. The packaging is very high quality and looks absolutely fantastic.

The tube itself was designed customly for Star's brand and is completely unique.

The packaging itself is of very high quality. It looks like glass but is infact solid plastic. 

Jeffree Star Cosmetics currently has a range of three shades. RedRum (bright Blue Based red). Prom Night (Bright Candy Pink). And finally the one I chose, I'm Royalty (Blue Based Bright Lavender.) All three are cruelty free and NOT tested on animals! 

All three shades look stunning but something about I'm Royalty just spoke to me. It looked SO beautiful in the online swatch and looks even better in person! 

It applies opaquely and has a creamy, fluid texture. It is by far the most fluid and creamy Liquid To Matte product I have tried. It is also the LEAST drying on your lips. It feels completely comfortable and leaves your lips feeling soft after removal.

I'm Royalty looks absolutely stunning swatched and it dries very quickly. It is dry within one minute and offers smudge proof, kiss proof wear. 

I can't wait to see what products Jeffree Star Cosmetics comes out with in the future!
