Exo Terra Habisphere Review Update

Hello Guys!
About ten months ago I posted a long review video of the then brand new Habisphere terrarium by Exo Terra. As the months have passed my opinions have changed and I thought before I moved home it was the perfect time to update you on the tank!

The original video covers the tank in more detail, including its size, specifications and details. This post is going to be more of my personal experiences with this terrarium, how I have it set up, any visible wear and tear or problems I have had.

Clinique: Pep Start Eye Cream Review

Hello Dolls.

am really excited to share one of my all time holy grail products with you. I speak  asomeone who is horrifically prone to under eye creasing; which means I have to bake my under eye with a ton of powder, which can look really dry really quick.

Enter Pep Start. It'a really lightweight cream with an emollient texture. It contains  moisturising ingredients to hydrate the eye arewithout being too heavy; as well aseven different peptides to help combat signs of aging.

It alscontains light reflecting pigments to help brighten discolouration.

I love how concealer applies over this product. It gives enough hydration that concealer won't look parched. Even with a heavy bake. Yet, it isn't oily enough that it slidearound.

The texture of Pep Start iso light you can actually apply it over makeup without it affecting how it looks. I wouldn't advocate this if you set your concealer with powder as you will find it can remove the pigment.

If you're looking for a light eye cream to prep for makeup this ia fantastic option which lacks common irritants like fragrance. It's also affordable at £22.

Ingredients
Water\Aqua\Eau, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Squalane, Cetyl Esters, Dimethicone, Methyl Gluceth-20, Polyethylene, Glycereth-26, Polybutene, Sucrose, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract, Sigesbeckia Orientalis (St. Paul’s Wort) Extract, Algae Extract, Molasses Extract\Saccharum Officinarum\Extrait De Melasse, Sapindus Mukurossi Fruit Extract, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Whey Protein\Lactis Protein\Proteine Du Petit-Lait, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2, Caffeine, Phytosphingosine, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Yeast Extract\Faex\Extrait De Levure, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein, Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, Sucrose Stearate, Caprylyl Glycol, PEG-8, Sodium Hyaluronate, Simethicone, Polysorbate 20, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Dextran, Hexylene Glycol, Sodium Citrate, Phenoxyethanol, Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

Whiteout (Medusa) Sclera Review

Hello guys,
I am so excited to share with you this amazing pair of whiteout sclera lenses that are from Scleraxl.com

The first thing I want to mention is how amazing the service ScleraXl provides is. They dispatched these lenses Monday at 20;30 from the Netherlands and they arrived on my door in the UK Thursday at 14:55.

The contacts were packaged very securely in a sturdy box filled with bubble wrap so there was no risk of breakage during transit. Inside the box was the contact lenses, a large sclera case, a standard sized lense case, a bottle of multi purpose lens fluid and contact lens safe eyedrops.

In ten years as a makeup effects artist ScleraXL is the only company to have provided lens fluid and eyedrops with sclera lenses. I am so highly impressed with the lengths they went to.

The lenses themselves look AMAZING. They are so creepy and striking that you can’t NOT notice them.

I have not worn sclera lenses personally for about two years. I have put them in for numerous performers, actors and models during that time so I am highly familiar with the technique but they are still not the easiest thing to get in. However, the second time I wore them I got them in within five minutes so they are not that challenging if you know what you are doing and take your time.

The lenses feel so comfortable in. They are in no way uncomfortable or drying. You are obviously aware there is something unfamiliar in the eye but they are not painful or uncomfortable at all.

With the correct care and use these lenses have a lifespan of 1 year so, in my opinion you really get your money's worth out of them.

They are perfect for so many makeups like Jeff The Killer, evil dolls, clowns, possessions, demons, an unconventional vampire makeup, werewolves, witches. The list goes on. I love how dramatic the style is but because it is so simple they lend themselves to so many characters.

I am so blown away by how comfortable they are and how high a level of service Sclera XL provided. They have such a huge range of sclera designs at very low prices it is literally makeup artist paradise.

Please check them out at https://www.scleraxl.com/ and you can buy these Whiteout Lenses here https://www.scleraxl.com/whiteout-sclera

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Deep Freeze Review

Hello Dolls,
Welcome back!
Today I am so excited to be talking about one of my all time favourite things... HIGHLIGHT.

Metallic highlighting isuch staple of dramatic makeup looks now and there are so many exciting new products launching on the market. I remember back in the early days of my career I would often use foiled eyeshadowand loose pigments to create unusually colouresheens on the cheeks.

am so excited the beauty industry has changed enough that brands have the balls to make highlighters this colour.

I have been a huge fan of Jeffree'skin frostsince they launched, they are such amazing value for money as you get fifteen grams of product in the pan. That is HUGE compared to every other big selling powder highlight on the market.

The compact is massive, it feels well made ansturdy to hold.

In the pan the Deep Freeze ia gorgeous true blue with silver shift to it in the light. It iaptly named, it is the sort of blue you'd think of when describing a freezing december morning.

The formula of the skin frosts is one of my all time favourites. It ia creamy feeling powder which is ultra pigmenteand sits gorgeously on all skin types. I am yet to fina foundation or powder they don't work with and if you apply them with dampened brush... holy Terminator cheek.

On the skin the highlighter takes on a lighter, more silver tone. Think of a frozen over lake. It is pretty damn cool.

It iso far from a natural highlight, as blue is not a pigment naturally found in the skin. However that doesn't mean that you can't make this look really cool if you blend it right andon't take it too far into the cheek bone.

One of my favourite ways to use thishade is over dark matte lipsticks. The effect iamazing!
It also lookawesome as an eyeshadow or over body paint! There are so many awesome uses for colours like this if you step out your comfort zone!

Welcome Back

It is a very surreal experience to be posting on this blog after my one year hiatus. This site is so close to my heart. It is what launched my career as a blogger back in 2011 and changed my life in ways that still blow me away to this day.

It is scary how much my life has changed since I started this project in 2011. It is a huge regret that once things became harder for me personally I felt myself distancing myself from my work, my creative outlets, the team of people who worked with me on this site and my love of sharing my passion with the world.

I regret closing doors on this site and turning down opportunities. I regret souring flourishing relationships with the label who helped my indie blog turn into a site with 1.8M worldwide readers but I am so proud to be back in a headspace which allows me to want to share my love and years of experience with the world again.

I am touched that even after a year away fifty thousand of you remained here hoping to see new content. Thank you to everyone who has messaged me over this year of inactivity checking I am okay, it really has touched my heart.

 I am happy.
 I am safe.
I am back to weekly posting.

Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Creme Review

*This product was sent to me to review by the people at www.mypure.co.uk *
Glowy, healthy, fresh skin has never been more in fashion than it is now. With the recent strobing craze a strong highlight has replaced contouring in popularity.

I was really interested to see what the natural beauty industry had to bring to the table for the fans of a high shine glow so I was excited to review the Light Reflect Highlighting Cream by Inika.

Inika has great packaging. I love the black and gold and I really think it looks like a high end makeup product. Simple, sophisticated and classic.

The product itself is a thick cream/gel product which has a warm champagne shimmer. Brilliantly glossy and light reflecting this will universally flatter light-medium to medium-dark skintones. It might be slightly on the warm side for very fair skins but it can be used sparingly to bronze the skin should you desire.

I think this looks beautiful patted over the cheekbones or cupids bow but my favourite trick with this is mixing a tiny amount with your moisturiser and applying it before foundation. This gives a natural, subtle glow which looks gorgeous under foundation. If you are someone who craves a dewy finish but doesn't want to look "sweaty" or like a disco ball I really recommend trying this!

It works really well on all skin types as long as it is applied before powder.

I honestly am head over heels in love with this product! Inika make some great makeup but this is one of their best in my opinion!

EcoTools Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set Review

*This product was sent to me to review by the people at www.mypure.co.uk *

One of my favourite things are brushes. I shudder to think how much I have spent on brushes over the years. I was so excited to try these natural, cruelty free brushes by EcoTools to see how they compared to their more expensive, animal hair counterparts.

This set includes a blush/powder brush, eye shading brush, concealer brush, brow brush/eyelash comb and a sharp angled brush.

They are packaged in a really nice case which is perfect to keep them in or using as a make-up bag!

The brushes themselves are beautifully constructed and are SO soft. They feel incredible. They are dense, fluffy and silken on the skin.

They pick up product perfectly and evenly distribute it on the skin. The blush brush picks up powder amazingly and blends it lightly over the skin and buffs it into an airbrushed finish.

The eye shading brush is perfect for packing on a base shadow colour across the lid. Amazing for smokey eyes to pack on a nice solid base. This type of brush is amazing to get opaque colour with minimal fallout as you can "pat" the shadow onto the lid.

The conceal brush is a really nice for undereye concealer. Stiff enough to thoroughly blend product but soft enough not to irritate the delicate eye area. Also amazing for spot concealing this brush is really great for getting in to hard to reach spots like around the nose.

The brow/lash brush is perfect for grooming your brows, brushing product through and combing your lashes before and after mascara (seriously, say goodbye to lash clumps).

The angled brush is great for eyeliner and eyebrows. You can get really sharp, perfect lines with this nifty little brush.

These brushes are such amazing value for money. 5 brushes (6 if you count the brow/lash duo as separate brushes) for £14.99. You can buy this brush set here from www.mypure.co.uk

Kosmea Daily Facial Exfoliant Review

*This product was sent to me to review by the people at www.mypure.co.uk *
Despite it currently being autumn I have noticed my skin suddenly becoming much drier than it was a few weeks ago. Because of this I am starting working exfoliation heavily back into my daily skincare routine.

I have been curious about Kosmea skincare for awhile now and I am so pleased I finally got around to trying one of their products!

The packaging is gorgeously simple. I am a sucker for nice, well presented packaging and this clean blue and white box looks gorgeous.

Inside the box is the 125g tube. This is such a generous amount of the product as I have found you only need a small amount to get a nice, gentle exfoliation.

The product itself has a very thick, clay like texture (not surprising as kaolin clay is a top ingredient in this product). When mixed with a tiny bit of water it because soft and creamy and spreads perfectly on the skin.

I love how my skin feels after using this. It feels smooth, clean and not irritated or dried out. It smells very fresh and slightly herbal and is very invigorating when I use it in the morning.

One thing I hate about my skin is how dry and flakey it gets as soon as it gets colder or damper here. This product lightly buffs away dry skin without disturbing or irritating the rest of my face.

You can also leave this product on the skin for a few minutes as a mask, this lets the clay absorb any oil or impurities before buffing away dry skin when you remove it. I really like this multi purpose aspect of this product.

Over all I am SO impressed with this product and Kosmea in general! I will definitely be reviewing some more of their products soon! You can buy this product HERE from the lovely people at www.mypure.co.uk

Honour Short Latex Gloves Review

Hello darlings,
Welcome back to my Blog. Today I wanted to quickly share my thoughts on one of my wardrobe staples. These gorgeous short moulded rubber black gloves from Honour Clothing.

Honour are a supplier of high quality fetish fashion and sell some wonderful Latex and PVC garments (among a hidden treasure trove of other fetish accessories). All at very reasonable prices.

These gloves are available in black, red and clear (I obviously chose Black) and they arrived beautifully packaged. They were dispatched SO quickly and arrived in a sealed box that was filled with bubble wrap.

I obviously couldn’t wait to shine them and slip them on and boy was I not disappointed. These gloves feel very well made. They are thin enough to allow for perfect movement and that ‘second skin’ feeling of latex but thick enough that I am not paranoid about them ripping.

I love pairing these gloves with either a black or white shirt, black jeans and a blazer or an all black outfit. They are perfect for a smart/casual outfit with a twist of wickedness thrown in.

I am so overjoyed with these gloves (so much so I bought another pair). They look amazing when shined with a good dressing aid or a latex safe silicone spray. (I use either Pjur Cult or Skin Two Dress & Shine. All from Honour).

I can’t rave about the quality of service Honour provides enough. It was such a positive buying experience and I can’t wait to purchase some more latex garments from them soon!

Breathless Latex Couture Review

Hello Darlings!
I am back after a brief hiatus as this site has been thoroughly re-coded from the ground up. I recently went to London and fell instantly in love with a gorgeous Latex Waistcoat from Breathless Latex Couture.

It is a gorgeous black and white pinstriped design that flatters my gender neutral aesthetic.
Hand made from high quality black latex this garment is beautifully tailored. It feels gorgeously made and there is no visible seaming or glue marks on the outside.

The white pinstripe is hand done with precision cut strips of white latex hand laid onto the collar and pocked detailing for a perfect finish.

The metal detailing is sublime too with the metal fittings fixed FIRMLY into place above the latex so there is no risk of the metal weakening or discolouring the black latex.

The garment itself is a halter neck with a zip up back. The zip is very secure and holds the garment in place perfectly.

It looks gorgeous on its own or over a black shirt and I love how amazing it looks with a coat of silicone lube applied onto the surface.

I purchased this in a size down as the rubber is quite thick and I knew it'd have a slight cinching effect on my waist without distorting or weakening the latex.

This was my first purchase from Breathless Latex and I paid £165 for this waistcoat.

I honestly adore it and I really recommend their gorgeous garments.

You can find Breathless Latex at http://www.breathless.uk.com/ or in their London store on Pheonix Road.
